Biking

Like most people, I rode a bike a lot in my school years but gave up soon after getting a driving licence. Vans and cars took my interest then until we happened to hire bikes on a recent Scottish holiday. We bought a bike for Bron which I began to ride a lot, even though it was pink and had a lady's frame. Its great virtue was that it was made of aluminium and was very light in weight. It had 21 gears and all the gadgets so I was very happy with it and used it for local shopping and regular trips to the Leisure Centre.

When the pink bike was in for service, the cunning dealer lent me an electric bike to return home. I was astonished at the power and easy control. This bike had even more gadgets, with built in lights, a stand and a strong carrier and pannier. It was not long before I bought one and have now covered about 700 miles in a three years.
