I was born at an early age in Cardiff and went to school in that city until I was eighteen. So in 1955, because in those days National Service followed after school, I started my 2 year service in the RAF. After this I spent the next 18 years in the family business before setting up on my own as a management consultant in 1975, which continued until I retired in 2007 at the age of seventy.
My interest in music gradually dominated my life and has become the source of much happiness.
Having been fortunate enough to experience a variety of different opportunities throughout a long and healthy life, I have accumulated a wealth of stories and anecdotes. My family encouraged me to record them.
I started this process using a fountain pen and a ream of paper, but was soon encouraged to move with the times to digital means. By the time some of you read this, books and fountain pens might only be a relic from the past.
